Each and every one of our blends, are blended specifically for that soil and therefore ALL your plants. Yes, that’s right, yours is a rose blend, a lawn fixer, a veggie booster, a native expert, it creates good chemical reactions in the soil. It’s not just about the three at the top (N,P,K), all of the minerals and nutrients use each other to work. That’s why other products fail to last. We have carefully gone through every mineral and nutrient and added the exact quantities you need, we’ll talk about a few of these below.

All this makes our blends the first truly All-of-Garden one off treatment. Because when you scientifically balance the soil the entire system thrives*.

  1. Simply work out vaguely how big your yard is. (google simple methods if needed).

Grab your blend. (don’t worry if you’re on the edge of a colour on the map, take the Blue blend)

  1. Step-out an area about 3.5 big steps by 3.5 big steps and spread a standard cupful. (watch how it looks on the surface, so that you can just keep going at the same rate)

Do not worry too much about this, you’d have to make a pile before it will hurt anything.

  1. Once you’re done, ideally water in immediately but even the next day is ok. Just be sure you water until its dissolved. Your lawn area can be mowed when its dry enough.

Successful gardening in your area can mean importing topsoils and lots of expensive maintenance. Never fear, we have carefully balanced your blend all the way down the spectrum from the NPK’s to the micronutrient and trace element level.

One thing working in your favour is historic organic matter levels, although, your plants are going to need something to stimulate the natural cycle of this. That is what we have done for you.

The trick was to get the ideal amount of Nitrogen (N) in relation to Sulphur and Phosphorus while still not overloading the native trees you may have in your area. What this does is enables the Carbon cycle to maximise. Yes, you’ll be sequestering carbon and helping the environment one beautiful yard at a time. With the added microbiological coating on your blend, your soil will begin to function like a rain forest again.

There’s a tiny amount of Iron in your blend as it is essential to photosynthesis and chlorophyll in all plants. You don’t want too much in your soil types though. It’s there to work with the Nitrogen and Sulphur to give you that lasting green our blends are famous for.

Balancing pH at depth is a challenge for you, your plants have roots well down through any topsoil you may have provided them. It helped them establish but not thrive long term. Providing them the correcting ingredients in your specific blend from us will ensure your garden weathers drought better and give you a laundry list of health benefits when applied regularly.

Following natures steps is the only way to get long term results, particularly in your soil type. Go easy, avoid using plant specific fertilisers or generic high Nitrogen fertilisers, they’ll easily deplete your soils and throw the balance out to a point where it can be hard to return from. Once you make the change to using a balanced specific fertiliser, you shouldn’t add anything else other than plant food on the surface.

*as with any fertiliser, water in until dissolved. Plants absorb their food through damp soil. When it goes dry, they’re not only dying of thirst but starving as well. So, just treat your garden, as a whole, regularly and you’ll be building the health and vitality every time. Then stick your finger in it and keep it damp.

Simple yeah? The science, testing and research to make it that easy for you, wasn’t that easy but an absolute pleasure and passion for us.
