Each and every one of our blends, are blended specifically for that soil and therefore ALL your plants. Yes, that’s right, yours is a rose blend, a lawn fixer, a veggie booster, a native expert, it creates good chemical reactions in the soil. It’s not just about the three at the top (N,P,K), all of the minerals and nutrients use each other to work. That’s why other products fail to last. We have carefully gone through every mineral and nutrient and added the exact quantities you need, we’ll talk about a few of these below.
All this makes our blends the first truly All-of-Garden one off treatment. Because when you scientifically balance the soil the entire system thrives*.
- Simply work out vaguely how big your yard is. (google simple methods if needed).
Grab your blend. (don’t worry if you’re on the edge of a colour on the map, take the Blue blend)
- Step-out an area about 3.5 big steps by 3.5 big steps and spread a standard cupful. (watch how it looks on the surface, so that you can just keep going at the same rate)
Do not worry too much about this, you’d have to make a pile before it will hurt anything.
- Once you’re done, ideally water in immediately but even the next day is ok. Just be sure you water until its dissolved. Your lawn area can be mowed when its dry enough.
You need Calcium (Ca)! Let’s get this one down in there to let it start improving soil fertility and water holding capacity. It does this by binding to the clay particles to keep them looser in the soils structure. They also bind with organic matter (OM), making for a much looser soil for water to penetrate and stay in. the beautiful play off with this is that roots can now navigate down into the soil easier. They’ll also find moisture and nutrients a lot easier because they are also being held in the soil more readily. In short, your soil is awesome, it just needs a little help.
Now we need to add a few elements to further complement this relationship. Nitrogen (N), Sulphur (S) and Phosphorus (P) are required to help draw down and store the carbon from the organic matter. Alone these two benefits are amazing for the longevity of your entire garden and more than that, the environment as a whole.
The next thing that we’d like to point out in your blend is the humates!! If you’ve read the bag tag you’ll already be aware of their power, but coupled with the 23 strains of beneficial microbes coating each pellet and you’re adding more life to your garden than a full top dress of a composted material. A probiotic for your particular yard plus a full spectrum of nutrients and minerals. The full complement to your garden through their ability to free up nutrients for plant use, store more water, build organic matter and stimulate microbiological processes.
In short, all your soils need is loosening up, a kick of biological life and a perfectly accurate balance of all Nutrients and trace elements but in saying that…We’re particularly proud of the way we’ve put your blend together, as the diversity in topography and environmental changes and challenges are truly diverse. We’ve been able to put all that together and fashion a simple final solution for you to use easily across your entire garden.
*as with any fertiliser, water in until dissolved. Plants absorb their food through damp soil. When it goes dry, they’re not only dying of thirst but starving as well. So, just treat your garden, as a whole, regularly and you’ll be building the health and vitality every time. Then stick your finger in it and keep it damp.
